Nintendo have announced that they will be selling the Wii Mini in the UK (and possibly Ireland) on the 22nd March. Basically, it is just a scaled down Wii with a red band . No price has been announced just yet but the retail price in Canada, when it was launched in November, was $99 so expect something around £65 or €75, much cheaper than the original Wii. To make the Wii Mini cheaper the internet capacity has been removed, but the console does come with a shiny red Wii Remote Plus and a red Nunchuk controller. Although it has an amazing price, it has had mixed reviews from critics. Also, in my opinion, they choose a bad time to release it as the Playstation 4 has been announced and the Xbox 720 is due to be announced. Overall, it would be great for any Nintendo fan. The price is amazingly cheap and it will have popular games such as Wii Sports Resort, Mario Party 8 and Super Paper Mario. Tell us what you think in the comments below!
